I recently came across an interesting thesis when reading about the differences between photo books and zines. The essay is titled: Return to the Tangible? The Photozine in the Digital Age and is written by Elisa Nelissen (2015). I came away with a better understanding of the different ways photo books and photo zines are produced and incorporated into the community. As well as this I began to question which type of publication might be appropriate for my body of work, based on my intentions for the project.
